Doing relationships right often involves open communication, trust, and mutual respect. It’s best seen when couples stive to thrive on understanding and empathy. Both partners should be willing to listen, share, and compromise, creating a safe space where each other’s vulnerabilities can be expressed without fear or judgment. And then trust forms the bedrock of any healthy relationship. Yet, trust requires time and consistency to build. This is why it’s best to not break trust than to have to repair it. Ultimately, a well-nurtured relationship is a partnership where both spouses or partners uplift and support one another through life’s ups and downs.

You’ll have to listen to the full episode to get the rundown on all five signs, but they include practices like being secure in who you are, keeping short accounts (yeah, that’s a big one!), and keeping hope alive in the face of disappointments.

Here’s the deal . . . every relationship and EVERY marriage will hit turbulence at times. That doesn’t mean your relationship is unhealthy. It just means you have work to do. The foundation of this podcast is to help couples to really think about the actual structure of their marriage or relationship. This is heart work, ya’ll! So stay consistent. Choose to focus on the good, and commit to doing relationships right.
