Have Faith in the Business Opportunity
I was reading something today about the need to have faith in business that reminded me of a story of my five-year old at the pool. I may have shared this story before, but here’s the video of exactly what happened. How my faith in business had led me to become more successful than I ever thought I’d be. Take a listen:
F.E.A.R stands for “False Evidence Appearing Real.” How many times have we not had faith in business and missed an opportunity we had been praying about? Think about this. Let’s say you’re behind on your bills and you need some money to get head above water. Someone approaches you with a business opportunity that costs $100 to start. But because of your current circumstances, you pass on the opportunity, even though you had a gut feeling you should give it a go. Months later, the same person approaches you again, but this time, you’re even more in the hole financially and see no way of getting out.So you pass on the opportunity again.
Could it be that the business opportunity was the answer to your prayer? Many people tote the word “faith” around like it’s a magic potion. They fail to realize the Bible teaches, “Faith without works is dead” James 2:17. You can pray, pray and pray some more, but until you activate your faith through works, you will not see any results! Beginning a business can be scary, but you must have the same type of faith in business that you have in crossing the street or riding an elevator or driving over a bridge. What if you’re run over by a car, the elevator breaks with you in it or the bridge collapses? Funny we never think of that happening. We hope for the best!
This isn’t a sales pitch post. I want to encourage you to take a leap of faith. If you know you are to start a business, have faith! Believe for the best. And have faith in business!
