An Inspirational Success Story that Made Us All Cry

I recently returned from a business trip in San Diego, CA and witnessed an inspirational success story that brought tears to my eyes. My business partners and I had been planning this trip for months, and one girl, Lauren, would be coming along. The problem was Lauren didn’t have enough money to purchase a roundtrip plane ticket from Indiana, where she lives, to San Diego. But stepping out in faith, she bought a one-way ticket and believed for a miracle.

Her miracle came in the form of another business partner who— asking to remain anonymous—put money in her PayPal account to get her back home! But the story doesn’t stop there. Not only did Lauren make it to San Diego and back, but while at our event, she was called onstage in front of 3,000+ people by our company’s founder’s wife. Of course, most of us had tears in our eyes as we witnessed Lauren’s dream coming true before our very eyes. Just think, what if she hadn’t have stepped out in faith?

You Are an Inspirational Success Story in the Making

When we wake up each day, none of us knows what will happen, what doors will be opened for us or what opportunities will come our way. As my feet hit the floor, I realize I am an “inspirational success story” in the making. How? Because others are always watching you, whether you realize it or not. There are people waiting for you to succeed, so that they will have permission to succeed. One of the most sobering quotes I heard from my business event this past weekend was, “Who gave you permission to live beneath your potential?” When you understand that people are waiting to witness your inspirational success story, it will change how you view yourself, your life and your decisions.

Lauren had no idea when she bought that one-way plane ticket that she would be a testimony for others. She had no clue that her inspirational success story would be broadcast online for thousands to see. None of us do. That’s why it’s so important that we live on purpose each and every day. For some, getting onstage isn’t a big deal, for Lauren it meant everything!

No matter where you are in life, you have the potential of blessing and inspiring others with your own unique inspirational success story. So live life to the fullest, don’t be afraid of taking chances and step out in faith. You just might stumble upon your own inspirational story of success.
