Step Out on Faith
Every day as I get ready to go to work on making my dreams come true, I am reminded that I need to step out on faith. Some people hear the word “faith” and assume it is simply a religious term. Though I am a believer in God, the word faith carries weight to the non-religious as well.
We step out on faith every day of our lives. Think about it: when driving over a bridge, how many of us park our cars on the shoulder, climb underneath the bridge and check to make sure all the nuts, bolts and beams are in place? No one! We “by faith” believe the bridge will hold us up as we cross. The same is true when we ride in an elevator, eat at a restaurant, put our money in the bank, etc. We believe these systems will hold up to their claims or commitments.
Leave the Land of Mediocrity and Step Out on Faith
Life is meant to be great! I really believe that. Unfortunately, many people live way beneath their potential and settle for “barely getting by.” But if you want to live a life of adventure, purpose and destiny, you must leave the land of mediocrity and step out on faith.
My Step Out on Faith Portrait
In my “Dream Room” (i.e. home office), there is a beautiful portrait of a man who is stepping out on faith into the unknown. Check out my YouTube video below as I explain how profound this is to me.
As you go throughout your week, remember no matter how big your problem is or how deep your pain, there is a God who loves you, is for you and wants you to step out on faith!
